Janie Ogeah(I)

Janie Ogeah is a writer, director, and producer working in narrative short film. Nigerian-born and Malta-based, she began her screen career in Nigeria as a TV presenter and programme co-host at the Delta Broadcasting Service and Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, before relocating to Malta, where the local independent film community became the motivator for a deliberate move toward narrative filmmaking. Her work gravitates toward psychological tension, dark comedy, and stories told from the inside out. She admires the writing of Steven Knight and Tim Burton's visual world. Off the screen, Janie has over a decade of experience as a marketing and communications professional across the public and private sectors, with a background in journalism, PR, and copywriting for clients in tourism and hospitality, events, oil and gas, fintech, and sports apparel. She holds an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication.
