Ulísver Silva is a Brazilian filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer who graduated in Radio and TV from the University of Católica Dom Bosco. He took several courses in filmmaking at the International Academy of Cinema (AIC - São Paulo), Stein Productions, and Ernani Bessa's courses.
As an independent filmmaker, Ulísver develops films with a passionate focus on playfulness, creativity, reasoning, activism, and physical performance.
Since 2005, he has worked for TV channels and production companies. As an independent filmmaker, Ulísver Silva directed the short documentaries 'Sanda - The Chinese Boxing' and 'Encontro de Crespas e Cacheadas MS.'
In 2017, he received public investment from the City Hall of Campo Grande-MS and produced the short film 'The Inventions of Akins,' which was shown at many film festivals. The film is now available for rent on streaming platforms.
In 2021, his first feature film script was selected for the 11th Laboratório Novas Histórias, a script lab organized by SESC and SENAI of São Paulo, Brazil. The script also received public funding and was filmed in May 2023.
The director is now working on the post-production of his first feature film "Riddles on the Ride".
