Maya Oster

Maya Oster is an LA-based Director, Writer, and Producer. Originally from Ancaster, Ontario, Maya began her journey in the industry as a musical theater actress on stage and screen. She transitioned to behind-the-camera work when she began exploring short musical creation, taking on most roles in her early projects. She moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California's esteemed Film and Television Production MFA Graduate program, where she truly fell in love with filmmaking and found her true passion in narrative musical content. Now, she enjoys telling emotionally rich stories with a signature style that fuses nostalgic Hollywood elements with dazzling and innovative techniques.
