Ida Hoffman is a Swedish writer, director, and actress with a background in theatre. She was nominated for an ACCT Award in New Zealand for her portrayal of Mrs. Linde in A Doll's House at the Dolphin Theatre and has performed on stage in Auckland, New Zealand, and London.
After establishing herself as an actor, Hoffman turned her focus to writing and filmmaking. Her debut short film as writer and co-director, Christmas Angels (2026), earned her a nomination for Best Woman Filmmaker at the Big Apple Film Festival and is currently a Finalist in the Made in L.A. category at the Academy Award®-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival.
Hoffman develops original film projects with her husband and creative partner, Remington Hoffman. Their work is characterized by character-driven storytelling that explores resilience, hope, compassion, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
