Biography

Rob Reilly is a writer, director, and editor from NYC. Rob's debut film, "Back To Manhattan", (2003), was a low-budget indie feature which he wrote, produced, directed, and edited. While he continued writing, Rob found success in the corporate world, producing, directing and editing for such clients as Kohler, Sub-Zero and Wolf, and Dwell Magazine. Wanting to return to the film, in 2017, Rob began offering his producing and post-production skills to other film projects, taking on such roles as editor, colorist, sound editor, post-supervisor & music supervisor; winning several editing awards along the way, including Best Editing at NYLIFF (New York/Long Island Film Festival) in Nov 2022 and Best Editing at the New Jersey Web Festival in Oct 2025. Rob also has two feature films in the works for 2026.

Rob Reilly is a New York filmmaker, writer, director and editor whose career began in an edit suite in 1994. His debut feature, "Back to Manhattan" (2003), which he wrote, produced, directed and edited, earned awards on the New York film festival circuit, including the Spirit Award for Emerging Filmmaker at the Queens International Film Festival. Rob and the film were also featured in a two-page spread in PC Magazine. Over the years, Rob has brought his creative and editorial experience to projects for Sony, Fujifilm, Kohler, Sub-Zero and Wolf, Trump International Hotels, the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and the Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center. Since 2017, Rob has focused increasingly on independent film, working as an editor and post-production supervisor on features and shorts, as well as cutting trailers and designing theatrical posters.
