Biography

Dmitriy Parmenov studied at the Saint-Petersburg University of Cinema and TV under film director Leonid Menaker in 1994-1999. In 1999 his graduation short film "Science and Life" won the first prize at the "Literature and Film" festival. Since then, Dmitriy has been working continuously as a TV series director and screenwriter for all three of the major Russian TV channels. He directed over 70 episodes and wrote over 200 episodes as the sole screenwriter; some of his projects have ranked top in the nationwide ratings. Currently lives in New York.
