Biography

Farhan Khan Rio is a Bangladeshi actor known for his work in films, web series, and music videos. He began his career as a model before moving into acting in the early 2010s. His breakthrough came with the psychological thriller Psycho (2022), directed by Anonno Mamun, where he received praise for his negative role. He later starred in the acclaimed short film Angul and the web series Trapped.

Rio won the AJFB Best Actor Award in 2024 and the BIFA Best Actor Award in 2022. He also received the Walton Performance Award in 2019 for his work in OTT content. Known for portraying both romantic and dark roles, he is respected for his bold performances and dedication to character-driven storytelling.

As of now, Rio continues to work on diverse projects across digital and theatrical platforms, with a growing presence in South Asian entertainment.
