Haawai performed in his first musical at NIDA in June of 2025 under the direction of Dean Drieberg who is currently the resident Director for Disney's The Lion King in Sydney.
Haawai has recently completed his first feature film as an extra with acclaimed director Peter Farrelly.
Haawai plays the role of Jimmy in the TV pilot "The Celebrant" which was filmed in early 2024 by Directors Katherine Armon and Craig Anthony Smith and Australian Cinematographer Garry Phillips.
Haawai filmed his first international commercial for Yowie World Chocolate. The campaign is launching in the United States in 2024.
Haawai plays the role of Jack in the short-film "Inward", directed by Liana Taiapa the film was awarded best short-film from the Sydney Global Cine Carnival in 2023.
Haawai was also fortunate to feature in Hailey Bartholomew's documentary "Ageless." Nominated for best direction in short documentary by the Australian Directors Guild 2023.
Haawai has been modeling in commercials and print campaigns since the age of 5 years old. International brands such as Nickelodeon, Sea World, Movie World, Dreamworld, Cotton On Kids, Rock Your Baby, Banwood and Culture Kings.
Haawai developed his passion for the arts from an early age. Haawai has been involved with "The Queensland Theatre of Puppetry", as well as Goat Track Theatre.
