Katherine Galera

Katherine Galera is a Los Angeles-based actor, writer, and producer known for her dedication to authentic, character-driven storytelling. She honed her craft at the Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio, specializing in the Meisner technique, which emphasizes truthful emotional responses and active listening.

During her training, Katherine explored complex characters through scene work, portraying roles such as Maggie Pollitt in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Lizzie in The Rainmaker, Babe in Crimes of the Heart, JoAnne Galloway in A Few Good Men, and Molly in Molly's Game. These experiences deepened her understanding of nuanced character development and storytelling. She made her theatre debut at the Promenade Playhouse in Holiday Spirits, a series of original plays that sparked her love for live performance. Transitioning to on-screen work, Katherine has taken on lead and supporting roles in several short films, including a New York Film Academy student production. Demonstrating her versatility and commitment to the filmmaking process, she recently completed her first independent short film, serving as both writer and producer.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Katherine is a passionate foodie who enjoys exploring diverse culinary experiences and recreating dishes inspired by her grandmother's cooking. Her adventurous spirit extends to activities like salsa dancing, pole dancing, tennis, Pilates, rowing, and kayaking. An avid traveler, she seeks to immerse herself in different cultures, continually broadening her perspectives.
