- C.C. Webster earned an MFA in Directing and Screenwriting from Columbia University's School of the Arts. She is consistently inspired by, and writes about, the dreamers and underdogs of the world.
C.C. founded the nonprofit DRIVE-IN Film Festival, which for ten years brought independent films to drive-in theaters across the country. With the rise of digital projection and renewed attention to drive-ins, the festival helped many theaters find their footing, reach new audiences, and thrive in the modern era.
She is also the creator BLITZ Writing, a coaching and community program that helps writers find momentum and actually finish the work they care about. Each January, BLITZ runs a month-long virtual sprint with weekly strategy chats, personal guidance, and a lively online community. Throughout the year, BLITZ offers moderated writing groups that bring structure, deadlines, and thoughtful feedback - plus an annual in-person "create-your-own" writer's retreat for some dedicated, restorative creative time.
She currently teaches screenwriting at Hofstra University, Sarah Lawrence College, Sundance Collab, and Gotham Writers Workshop, among various other organizations.
