Biography

Gene Farber is an American actor with over two decades of work across film, television, theatre, and performance capture. He has appeared in major studio features including X-Men: First Class and Captain America: Civil War, and is widely recognized for portraying Grigori Weaver in the Call of Duty franchise - a role he has played for more than fifteen years across multiple installments.

His television resume spans network, cable, and streaming series, where he has portrayed detectives, conflicted allies, intelligence operatives, and complex dramatic characters. His performance-capture work highlights his physical precision and emotional depth, anchoring character-driven digital performances.

Raised in New York since age eleven, Gene speaks natural, accent-neutral American English and is also a fluent native Russian speaker, allowing him to transition seamlessly between American roles and internationally authentic characters.

He trained at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, earned a BFA in Acting from Boston University, and completed advanced classical studies at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
