Vijay Sud(II)

Vijay Sud is a film and media enthusiast residing in London since 2020, prior to which he was based in Dubai, UAE. He is an Electronics & Communication Engineer from Anna University who also holds an MBA degree with specialisation in Marketing and is a graduate of MA International Film Business from University of Exeter/London Film School.

Vijay is a media marketing specialist who started his media career with Indian media conglomerate, Zee Entertainment in their Dubai office looking after the MENA market, from 2009 to 2020. During his decade long run at Zee Entertainment he virtually worked across all their product offerings - like South Asian flagship channel Zee TV, leading Indian film channel Zee Cinema and family GEC channel &TV to the region's first ever Arabic channels Zee Aflam, Zee Film Hindi, and Zee Alwan offering foreign language dubbed and subtitled content to their wellness American content channel Zee Living. He also marketed and distributed Zee Studios films across the region.

Vijay spearheaded the launch of Zee Entertainment's radio station in the UAE named 106.2 Big FM and served as its Marketing Head leading the radio into its highest Reach & listenership and making it the leading station for event partnerships. The radio station also became most popular for exclusive film screenings and having Indian celebrity singers as their show hosts.

In his latest role at Zee Entertainment, Vijay served as the Associate Director of Marketing, leading the marketing efforts for a prominent network of channels including Zee TV, Zee Cinema, &TV, Zee Aflam, and Zee Alwan. His responsibilities encompassed media buying, planning, and trade marketing strategies. He concurrently served as the Marketing Head for 106.2 Big FM.

Leveraging his strategic marketing and PR expertise, Vijay spearheaded the launch PR campaigns for both Zee5's (Zee Entertainment's OTT platform) regional launch and Jalesh Cruises, the cruise line of Zee's parent company Essel Group.

Vijay is credited for several Indian films under the banner of Zee Studios as "Zee International team" member for marketing and distributing films in MENA region. Some of the film credits are: Jazbaa, Rustom, A Flying Jatt, Parmanu, Dhadak, Paltan, Manikarnika, Kesari, Judgementall Hai Kya, Article 15, Good Newwz, Secret Superstar, Bhoot, Mom, Mulk, Qarib Qarib Singlle, Beyond The Clouds, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway and Kennedy.

He also worked as the marketing producer of locally produced limited series such as Parwaaz and Khwabon Ke Darmiyaan and reality shows such as Asia's Singing Superstar and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa & Dance India Dance audition episodes, for Zee Entertainment (MENA region).

Before relocating to London, United Kingdom in 2020; Vijay co-founded Tech Flick Inc., a media company formed in Poland for production, syndication, and distribution of South Asian content. Tech Flick was a parent company with SPV's in Dubai (Round Box FZE) and Pakistan (Content Crew Pvt. Ltd.) They signed a non-exclusive commissioning deal of 8 series with Viu Middle East, part of PCCW Media Group Company, to produce and distribute Pakistani Content.

The 8 scripted fiction series were produced under Content Crew and Round Box in collaboration with ARY Digital (a TV Network in Pakistan). The 7 series were: Bewafa, Ruswai, Dumsa, Ghalti, Pakeeza Phopo, Thora Sa Haq and Bhool and the 8th TV series (Kal Aaj Aur Kal) produced with Elements Media, Pakistan.

He also Co-produced and financed a Malayalam language feature film - Kappela released theatrically in March 2020 and which was then exclusively syndicated to Netflix.

To strategically position himself for success in the film industry, Vijay pursued a second master's degree in international film business, graduating in 2023.

Since February 2023, Vijay is developing and producing feature length films in different genres under the co-founding banner of Tangerine Talkies, a company established in the UK and India and since September 2025 he is working in Production with Warner Bros. in Leavesden, UK on International titles.
