For more than 10 years, Shawn has been behind the mic as a voiceover artist, play-by-play broadcaster, game analyst and studio host covering football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, volleyball and professional wrestling.
Shawn is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and began his career as a public address announcer at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. before becoming the in-arena voice of the Minnesota Timberwolves from 2017 to 2023. As of October 2024, Shawn is the in-arena voice of the Charlotte Hornets.
Shawn lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and mother.
