Valentina Eguiguren is an Ecuadorian Writer, Director, and Producer based in Madrid. She graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television Production and a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Her work has been recognized with the G.W. Dickinson Award and the Next Step Award.
In 2025, she became Creative Director at SB Entertainment, a multinational daily broadcast television show. Eguiguren has written and directed five short films, including Beatriz, which was officially selected at Guayafest and BUEIFF 2025. She has also developed her debut feature film while producing a documentary in Ecuador.
Her storytelling blends emotional depth with bold, visually striking imagery, drawing inspiration from her multicultural background and personal explorations of identity and belonging.
