Janice Cheer is a CBC actor, podcast host, and storyteller who grew up in Squamish, British Columbia. Passionate about authentic, character-driven performances, she works across film, television, and digital media, bringing warmth, depth, and reputability to every role.
In addition to acting, Janice co-hosts Fresh Off the Bluff, a storytelling podcast from two Chinese-Canadian best friends who grew up among the few Asian kids in the small town of Squamish, BC. Together, they revisit the hilarious, awkward, and sometimes confusing moments of growing up between cultures, from school lunches and small-town assumptions to the quiet ways their families shaped who they became.
