Biography

Venezuelan Mexican actor Jean Paul Leroux, has starred and participated in dozens of movies, series, plays and soap operas. He starred in the controversial Venezuelan film "Secuestro Express" (Dir. Jonathan Jakubowickz - Miramax * Box Office Record in Venezuela), as well as starred and produced "Las Caras del Diablo" (Dir. Carlos Malavé), with which he was awarded as Best Leading Actor in the "Premio al Cine Venezolano 2010".

Currently based in Mexico City due his roles in the main cast of successful series such as: Netflix's "El Dragón" where he plays Trejo. He can also be seen as Galvan in the 3rd season of HBO's award-winning "Mr. Ávila" (International Emmy® award-winning - best non-English speaking starring series) and in the new STAR+ & The Walt Disney Company series "El Mantequilla ".

He is also recognized for his work in some of the most successful Mexican productions for the US such as "Enemigo Íntimo I, II" (as Angel Cordero) and "Falsa Identidad I, II" (as Alex Mendez) both Telemundo productions, along with "La Piloto 1" (as Lic. Vergara) produced by Univision.

Jean Paul has a recognized career in Colombia, where he played Reznik in the Science Fiction series "2091" produced by FOX, the first futuristic series filmed in Spanish. He also starred in three Colombian movies: "Amor en el Aire", "Amores Peligrosos" and "La Vida era en serio", as well as important characters in several Latin American series such as "Lynch" (MovieCity) and "Tiempo Final" (FOX), and the 2nd season of "A Corazón Abierto" (remake of Grey's Anatomy).
