Jiyeon Kim(XII)

Jiyeon Kim is a filmmaker-scholar working across narrative and image-based practices. She holds an MFA in Film and Media Art from Emerson College and studied Film and Sociology at Dongguk University in Seoul. Her work explores memory, trauma, and diasporic experience through intimate storytelling. Her work amplifies unheard voices, bringing poetic and tactile sensibility to her films, often blending narrative storytelling with fragmented soundscapes and collage.
