Summer grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado where she performed
theatre. She attended the University of
Southern California getting her Bachelors in Environmental Studies and minor in Theatre. She's written numerous produced screenplays that have been distributed worldwide including a nine episode web-series that was filmed 100% remotely during Covid lock down, Pandemic Pillow Talk. Summer starred in the series which was a spin-off of one of her shorts. A domestic press tour covered the series that also starred Eric Roberts.
Summer is a member of the Producers Guild of America, Screen Actors Guild, and Local 871 IATSE. She also is the founder of a female empowerment film festival, Rising Above Fest that has received mainstream press coverage and had a coveted Emmy nominated host and Forbes 30 Under 30 guest panelist.
