  • Alan Malusà Magno lives in Udine, where he composes original music for projects ranging from rock and jazz to symphonic music, electronic music, and free improvisation. His work spans record productions, theatrical performances, concerts, cinema, and audiovisual projects. Primarily self-taught as a musician, he began his artistic career as a stage actor, graduating from the "Nico Pepe" Civic Academy of Dramatic Arts in Udine. (2026-) He teaches Music for the Stage and music pedagogy for actors at the same academy. His artistic and educational research focuses on the relationship between music, image, and performance as interconnected languages. He studied jazz, composition, and orchestration at the "Giuseppe Tartini" Conservatory in Trieste with Giovanni Maier, earning a Master's Degree. He later specialized in composition for visual media through masterclasses and advanced training programs at the Centro Sperimentale DI Cinematografia in Rome and the Music and Sound for Cinema Campus - CSC / Crueza DE Ma. He further developed his studies in composition and applied music at the "F. Venezze" Conservatory in Rovigo, combining teaching activities with an ongoing interdisciplinary career as a composer and performer. In 2024, the short film Love Passing By (Amore Passeggero), directed by Leonardo Angelotti and featuring his music, received the Best Experimental Short Film award at the Rome Cinema Fest.
