Biography

Ali Talebi is an award-winning Iranian DOP and filmmaker with over a decade of experience in film and documentary production. His work has been showcased at leading international festivals, including Camerimage (Poland), Tokyo 2023 (Japan) , Sheffield Doc/Fest (UK), Big Sky (USA), and Tehran International Short Film Festival. A member of the Iranian House of Cinema and a jury member at multiple film festivals, Talebi has collaborated with acclaimed Iranian directors on feature films, TV series, and documentaries. His cinematography has earned numerous awards, including selected Cinematography at Camerimage and the Tehran International Short Film Festival. In addition to his film work, he has directed short films such as Dream and I Am Afraid, and continues to mentor emerging filmmakers through workshops and training programs.
