Mina Kamouie is an English/Persian actress; she is a United States national with Iranian origin. She has migrated to the US on student visa and completed her graduate studies in Economics. Since 2018 she began pursuing her long-time passion for theatrical arts. She graduated at Stella Adler Academy of Acting, Los Angeles under the supervision of several world-class instructors. In 2026 she received the award for best actress at Sweden Film Awards for her role "Azadeh" in "Women’s Day". She performed various plays, including "Rabbit Hole", "A Doll's House", "Closer", and "Annapurna", "Barefoot in the Park", "Italian-American Reconciliation", among others. She was in several movies as lead roles, "Beneath the Calm, "Women's Day", "Negative", and some more which demonstrate the resilience and gravitas needed to navigate vulnerability, determination, and menace. She also choreographed modern contemporary dance for several years, and dance has always been with her in her life.
