Biography

She began her acting career in 2004, appearing in Carlo Verdone’s film *Love Is Eternal While It Lasts* (*L’amore è eterno finché dura*). After four years of training at Duse International in Rome with Francesca De Sapio, she graduated in 2010 from the DAMS program at Roma Tre University, focusing her thesis on Italian independent cinema of the 1970s.

She later moved to Paris, where she lived for eight years and continued her acting training at Actors Factory with Tiffany Stern, while developing her work in theatre and screenwriting. Her career has since unfolded between Italy and France.

In 2016, she wrote and directed her first experimental short film, *Anonyme*, based on the testimonies of women who experienced violence. Shot in eight languages, the film was presented at the Cannes Short Film Corner. In 2020, she worked alongside French director Tommy Weber as assistant director and acting coach on his first feature film, *Come prima*. Her second short film, *Pipa*, was released in 2021 and selected by several European film festivals.

In 2023, she completed *Fuori (Out)*, her first feature-length documentary, filmed over four years inside two social rehabilitation facilities in Paliano, near Rome. The film won the Rotary Award for Best Documentary at the Villammare Film Festival and received an Honorable Mention for Best Documentary at the SMR13 International Independent Film Festival.

As an actress, her television credits include *Il Re* (Sky), *Un passo dal cielo 7* (Rai 1), *Anima Gemella* (Canale 5), *Don Matteo* (Rai 1), *DOC - Nelle tue mani 3* (Rai 1), *I Fantastici 5* (Canale 5), and *Viola come il mare 3* (Canale 5). In France, she appears as Francesca Calvi in *Tropiques Criminels* (France TV / Sky), further establishing her career between the two countries.

Her film credits include Julien Leclercq’s *Braqueurs*, Andrés Arce Maldonado’s *Dentro*, Salvatore Metastasio’s *Mors tua vita mea*, and Alessandro Tonda’s *Il Nibbio*. She is also part of the cast of Fabio Guaglione’s upcoming Netflix film *Senza volto* and Alessio Pasqua’s *Come in cielo così in terra*, scheduled for theatrical release in 2027.

Alongside her acting projects, she is currently developing a documentary with Fondazione Romani about Juana Romani, the Italian painter who built her career in Paris in the late nineteenth century.
