Biography

Detlef D. Soost was born on July 2, 1970 in East Berlin, East Germany. He is an actor, known for HipHop Express (2010), Jargo (2004) and Otto - Der Katastrofenfilm (2000). He has been married to Kate Hall since August 31, 2012. They have one child.

After his mother died when he was 12 years old, he lived in an orphanage. He has never met his father, a doctor from Ghana.

Runs dancing schools in over 70 German cities.

Best known as hard juror of TV casting show Popstars (2000).

Was trained to be a mechanic.

Has two children, Chani Inéz Afia (b. April 2006) and Carlos Detlef Akwasi (b. 29 July 2007), with Ines Scaruppe.
