Biography

Rohit Das is an Indian filmmaker who work as a director, writer, cinematographer and editor in the industry. Rohit began his career in 2022 and directed his first independent feature film in the year 2024. He is known for his work in films like MAVEN, DICHOTOMY, LAMENT, WAVELINE, PSYCHO DADDY etc. The filmmaker won his first award at Exodus 2023 Bangalore for his travel film on Uttarakhand, under "The best travel documentary film". Later he got recognized and awarded by Wings International Film Festival Nepal, International Tagore Film Awards Kolkata and Paigaam-e-Cinema South Asian Film Festival. The filmmaker works in a dynamic range of craft including feature filmmaking, documentaries and short filmmaking.
