Jennifer Steen grew up and resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is a Navy veteran and worked as a linguist for 6 years. After the service she graduated from SNHU with a degree in Creative Writing with a double emphasis in Fiction and Screenwriting. She runs an independent press, Inkception Books, as well as Inception Media its filmmaking wing. She writes short film, features, and TV show pilots in a myriad of different genres.
(2023) She wrote, served as associate producer and editor for 'Concrete Dreams and Other Things,' which received recognition at six different film festivals and including nominations for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Newbie Filmmaker, Best Writing, and Best Soundtrack.
