Biography

Songwriter and producer M. Maurice Hawkesworth has written and co-written songs for bands like Di Leva, Fu-Tourist, Leila K, Solveig Sandnes, Soma Allpass and Windermere. His song "Marie" performed by Solveig Sandnes became a #1 hit in Japan.

He founded the Danish record label Invisible Wave in 1999. Before that, he was A&R Creative Manager for Mega Records, working with major bands like Ace of Base and Savage Rose. Appr. 25 of the music videos he commissioned at Mega Records have been shown on MTV Europe.

M. Maurice Hawkesworth is also an acknowledged director, painter and photographer, whose work has been exhibited at major international art galleries.
