Having been trained by actress, acting coach, and Emmy Award winning writer Sarahi Diaz, Jesse Aponte has learned to combine the performing arts with his real life experiences as a law enforcement officer. Additionally, Jesse has worked with well known Latin American soap opera and television series director and producer, Tito Rojas.

Jesse M. Aponte was born in New York City, to Adriana Aponte, a registered nurse, and Henry Aponte, a federal law enforcement official. His mother is of Colombian ancestry, and his father is of Puerto Rican descent. In 2004, Aponte graduated with honors from the Pembroke Pines Charter High School, receiving the senior superlative of "most artistic," and being awarded a Florida's Bright Futures Academic Scholarship. Aponte attended Florida State University, later transferring to Florida International University and Broward College where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice.

In 2008, Aponte followed in the footsteps of his father and began a career in federal law enforcement, working in both Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2018, while working out of Port Everglades, Florida, Aponte was approached by the film crew of "Mega Marine Machines - Sea Giants" and was offered a brief cameo on their television series. It's that moment that reignited Aponte's adoration for the arts, effectuating his search for a local acting coach in the Miami area. From 2018 to 2023, Aponte attended regular "Actor Inside Workshops" and private acting classes with thespian, acting coach, and Emmy Award winning writer Sarahi Diaz. Aponte has worked with both rising and prominent directors such as Haylie Duff, Anthony C. Ferrante, Sean Rosa, Gonzalo Mejia, Abraham "Tito" Rojas, the Wesley Bros, and much more.
