Lee Grimwade is a filmmaker, director, and editor working across documentary, live music, and independent creative production. His work spans the West Coast of the United States, with active bases in Southern California, Northwestern Washington, and the surrounding regions of Oregon and Nevada. He is the founder of You Are Here and Blackbird Pie Media, producing work that blends documentary presence with improvisational, artist-centered storytelling. His credits include live performance films and music videos for Smooth Kiwi, The Unclaimed, Tim Russ Crew, and Brushpopper. Grimwade also works under the long-running creative persona "SmiLee," which appears in his documentary and live-event work.
