Biography

Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan is an Indian actor who works in the Malayalam film industry. He is the son of actor and dubbing artist Shammy Thilakan and the grandson of legendary actor Thilakan.

He made his acting debut with Marco (2024), directed by Haneef Adeni, where he played the antagonist Russell Isaac. His performance was noted for its intensity and screen presence, marking him as a promising new face in Malayalam cinema. He has also been cast in upcoming projects including Sahasam (2025) and Baby Girl.

Abhimanyu completed his schooling at SN Trusts Central School and T.K.M. Centenary Public School in Kollam, Kerala, and went on to earn a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai.

Carrying forward his family's cinematic legacy, he is carving an independent identity with diverse roles and strong performances.
