- Kavi, whose name means "poet" in Sanskrit, is a Gibraltar-born actor of Indian heritage.
Having spent much of his childhood acting and dancing in theatre, Kavi quickly discovered his passion for the performance arts. In 2010, he graduated from the University of South Wales with a BA in Media Productions and Film Studies.
A minor role in Tragic Waste (2024) marked his introduction to the local film scene, leading to his first major role as Officer Karan Kotwani in the upcoming feature, Vases (2026). In the same year, he made his international debut in Spain with a cameo appearance in Mañana Mammón (2026).
His most recent appearance as The Stranger in The Last Sun (2026) showcases his penchant for completely transforming his appearance; achieving his look through weight loss, growing out his hair/beard, and donning a Hispanic accent. This performance earned him an award for Best Supporting Actor in the South Film & Arts Academy Festival and a nomination for Best Actor at the Love & Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona.
