Jonah Nigh is a comedian, public speaker, producer, and fundraising executive whose career bridges the arts, education, philanthropy, and media.
Praised by Instinct Magazine as "armed with razor-sharp wit, an infectious stage presence, and a fearless approach to storytelling," Nigh has appeared on NBC, Peacock, CBS, WNYC, France TV, and Don't Tell Comedy, and has performed at leading clubs and festivals across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He has opened for Robby Hoffman, Natasha Leggero, Lady Bushra, and Mario Tory and will be featured in the Amazon Prime docuseries Behind the Comedian. Nigh served as Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer at The Juilliard School, leading strategic fundraising, alumni engagement, corporate and foundation relations, and the public launch of Juilliard's $550 million campaign to make the school tuition-free. He previously held senior roles at The New School, The Jewish Museum, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Columbia University, Opera America, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
Nigh began his career as a classically trained vocalist and live-event producer, earning degrees from Lawrence University and the New England Conservatory, and performing with the Aspen Music Festival, Boston Lyric Opera, Dorian Opera Theatre, Opera Boston, and on TV and film.
Appointed in 2019 to Bronx Community Board Four by former Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr., Nigh served on its executive and economic development committees. He served as President-Elect of the Association of Fundraising Professionals NYC Chapter and co-founded The BIPOC Forum for Fundraisers, a free resource for fundraisers of color.
Nigh is a five-time marathoner and Boston-qualifier who is usually running or baking when not saying yes to too many projects.
