Hannnah Walker is an award-nominated film-maker, voice actress, & University Graduate with a 2:1 Degree in Film and Television Practices, specialising in Writing, Directing and Producing. She is also a member of the Lift-Off Global Network, thanks to Persephone (2024) and Retribution (2024) being officially selected in one of their festivals in 2024, then having Close to Home (2023) and The Bench (2024) selected later in the year.
She was raised in Cambridgeshire, UK, and studied Film Production at a London university, where she achieved an undergraduate degree with a 2:1 BA (Hons). Hannah's passion initially started with writing short stories, but then she branched into script work and directing by extension.
Her first major project was Close to Home (2023). She wrote, directed, and co-starred in it with her friend, Nadia Foquim and Melissa Jackson, whom she met on a Facebook casting page. Shortly after that, she wrote the script for Persephone, and whilst she was casting for this, she filmed Retribution with Melissa, which was 95% unscripted. Only a small phone call was scripted out.
Hannah is also venturing into the voice acting world, varying from audiobooks to films and other short media.
Hannah also wrote and self-published a crime/romance novel on Amazon in December 2024 called Chasing Shadows, which she will turn into a TV show in 2026/2027.
