Biography

Alexandros Theodorakis is a Greek-born gaffer, lighting technician and director based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After studying Business Administration at the University of Piraeus, he moved to the Netherlands and later trained in film production at SAE Institute Amsterdam. He has worked on more than seventy projects in a variety of roles behind the camera.

As a director and producer he made the shorts Kill the Babies! (2025) and The Plan (2024). In recent years he has been specialising in the lighting department, working as a gaffer, best electric, lighting technician and grip on narrative projects around Amsterdam.
