Lucia Zurkinden

Lucia Zurkinden is a Moldovan actress whose work spans feature film, television, short film, theatre, commercials and music videos across Europe. Based in Switzerland, she performs in English, French, German, Romanian, Polish, and Russian, bringing a versatile international presence to both dramatic and character-driven roles.
Lucia began her artistic training in classical ballet at the age of seven, practising for 17 years before expanding her physical discipline into kickboxing, Kung Fu and Pilates. She began working professionally in front of the camera at 18, appearing in commercials and music videos, and later gained experience in London productions including Netflix’s The Crown and Made in Chelsea.
Her screen work includes the lead role of Sheila in the feature film Alphamen, the lead role of Beatrice in the television series Shadow of Lies, and the supporting role of a translator in Ana-Felicia Scutelnicu’s Transit Times, produced by Weydemann Bros and Cristian Mungiu. Her other credits include Catillon, Her Obsession, Le Bandit et la Couturière, Le Dany-gumi, Shattered Bonds and Neurogaze. On stage, she played Valérie in the French-language production Mais où est le médecin? in Switzerland.
Lucia continues to build an international career in film and television, with a particular interest in emotionally complex and dramatic characters.
