Juan Pablo Cortez

Juan Pablo Cortez (La Paz, Bolivia) is a filmmaker, musician and visual artist. He started his carrer as actor in student short films and independent productions. Cortez is known by adapting Bolivian novels and local myths into films, reminding authors like Walter Guevara Arze, Marcelo Quiroga Santa Cruz, Jaime Saenz. All of his films have been produced by his independent production company "Andean Films".
