Former HR Manager who decided to go through a (quite crazy) career change and become a freelance artist.
Acting has been a great passion and curiosity ever since Monica has joined the Theater group 'Antígona' at Miguel Torga high school. Still as a teen, she's completed the musical theater intensive course by Claudio Hochmann at Teatro da Trindade, and experimented life on TV sets, taking simple roles for national productions, such as 'Morangos com Açúcar'.
Hobbyist Illustrator, with a MSc degree in Organizational Psychology (ISPA) and after many years working as HR Manager in Telcos and Software companies, she decided to give her artistic self a chance to pursue her dream of becoming a 2D animator, a filmmaker, and to revive her burning flame as an actress for good.
