Samantha Alves is an actor and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally hailing from Massachusetts, she got her start in Boston, dipping her toe into the world of filmmaking by participating in various productions around New England. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, Sam worked as both a preschool teacher and nanny for several years while pursuing her dreams on the side. She initially began taking acting and writing classes as a way to fulfill a lifelong passion of hers to one day work in the entertainment industry. A former early childhood educator, Sam is a creative and silly individual who enjoys making others laugh and sees the fun in every situation. She has a passion for film and storytelling, and in her free time, she enjoys comedy, movies, television, writing, and anything entertainment-related. Sam credits Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Kathryn Hahn, Lauren Graham, and Melanie Lynskey as some of her career influences.
