NOFAC3 is a Filipino stop-motion animator and visual artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia. They earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alberta University of the Arts, where they developed a multidisciplinary practice rooted in film and contemporary visual arts. Working across clay animation, cinematic film, hyper-realist painting, digital media, and installation, NOFAC3’s work is driven by a fascination with surrealism, psychological horror, and the tactile nature of handcrafted imagery.
Deeply informed by their Filipino heritage and queer identity, their practice explores themes of memory, embodiment, and transformation. Through meticulously constructed worlds and emotionally charged narratives, NOFAC3 uses animation and visual art to explore inner states shaped by personal history and cultural identity. Contributing a distinct voice to the fields of experimental film and visual arts.
