Alexandra Fechner grew up on movie sets with her father, producer
Christian Fechner. Passionate about music, especially Lyric Opera when
she was a teenager, Alexandra decides to work alongside her father at
the age of 20. She therefore begins her career at the Films Christian
Fechner production company working on the feature film Chouchou
released in March 2003. She then becomes the Artistic Director of the
company, and works as an Associate Producer on L'incruste (2004),
L'antidote (2005), L'Entente Cordiale (2006), Les Bronzés (2006) and
L'Auberge Rouge (2007). When Christian Fechner dies on November 25,
2008, she is determined to perpetuate the work of her father and his
production company. Alexandra Fechner then founds Fechner Films in
2009, Fechner TV and Fechner UK in 2012 and Fechner Be in 2013.
