  • Bambi DeVille is an Actress from and living in New Orleans Louisiana, born to Lloyd J. Engeran, Jr and Laura Ann DeVille, both born and raised in New Orleans. Bambi is her real name. Bambi moved to New York after graduating from high school to study acting, her goal since childhood. Bambi attended the professional acting program at Pace University and attended the Stella Adler Conservatory to study with Miss Adler before her retirement. Bambi earned her Actor's Equity membership within her first few years of being in New York with the production of Distorted Images, an off-off Broadway play. She then worked with various theater companies including Naked Angels in New York then The Actors Gang after moving to Los Angeles. The west coast move was initiated by getting hired work on the low budget independent feature film "Hideous Puppets". Bambi returned to New Orleans due to family matters and continued to work in the theater. After signing with Claudia Speicher at New Orleans Model and Talent Bambi began her own business to create financial freedom. After Ms. Speicher's untimely death, she chose to focus on her business ,Bambi DeVille Vintage a boutique in the French Quarter. Because of her knowledge of and love for film and television, and her vast collection of Antique and Vintage, Bambi established herself as the go to stylist and costume house in her home town. Costuming reminded Bambi of her love for acting and being on set. Shop Girl Productions was soon established as her production company to create vehicles for herself. Bambi DeVille, her brand, has established Bambi as a New Orleans personality and also has built her an international audience. She will begin production in May of 2021as a spokes model for an international travel advertising campaign. Her production company is in post (Feb, 2021) for "The Adventures of Bambi"(working title), a supernatural dramedy set in New Orleans. 2020 has allowed the time for creative projects and an opportunity for Bambi to reemerge as an actor, something she knows she is truly born to do. This included Theater; 'Sustained Winds" produced in Lafayette, La and New York City; 'Two Women: Los Angeles; and 'Cordelia was the Fool" New Orleans.
