- Raquel Tania, also known as Raquel, is an actress based in Toronto, Ontario, with roots in Regina, Saskatchewan. Her journey into acting began at a young age, nurtured by her training at the Regina Globe Theatre and her studies in classical voice at the Regina Conservatory of Performing Arts.
In addition to her passion for acting, Raquel has a background in martial arts, stemming from her upbringing in a household of martial artists. She holds a black belt in Taekwondo, participated in wrestling during her high school years, and has trained in mixed martial arts.
At the age of 17, Raquel made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career. She further honed her skills at the Toronto Academy of Film & Television in 2019 and underwent intensive training at Humber College's Acting for Film and Television program. Her dedication and talent were recognized when she was awarded the Brian Linehan Acting for Television Scholarship for Outstanding Artistic Promise in 2023/2024.
Beyond her acting pursuits, Raquel enjoys exploring new cafes, creating content on TikTok, and spending quality time with her cat Coco.
