Biography

Ryan Hickey is an American director, screenwriter, and actor. He is based in York, Pennsylvania. He is the founder of Watch and Listen Productions (WLP), and loves telling stories with not only strong messages, but also a strong narrative that can impact the audience. He discovered his love for creative writing as a teenager in community college by writing short stories, which led to screenplays not long after, and that is where he discovered his true passion screenwriting. The screenplay of his debut short film Watch and Listen (2024) got nominated at the Caraway Writing contest at York College of Pennsylvania, where he is majoring in film and minoring in Creative Writing.
