Jane Ormsby-Gore
Hon. Jane Teresa Denyse Ormsby-Gore was the daughter of William David Ormsby-Gore, 5th Baron Harlech and Sylvia Thomas.
Jane was the second eldest of 5 children. She had an older brother, Julian Hugh, and 3 younger siblings, Victoria Mary, Alice Ormsby-Gore and Francis David Ormsby-Gore 6th Baron Harlech. From her dad's side she would have a younger step-sister, Pandora Colin.
She worked for Vogue in the early 1960s and was involved in Hung on You, an avant garde men's clothing shop in Chelsea owned by her then husband Michael Rainey.
She married Michael Sean O'Dare Rainey, son of Major Sean Rainey and Joyce Marion Wallace, on 24 September 1966. They were divorced in 1984. They had 4 children: Saffron (b. 27 Feb 1967), Rose Soley (b. 1969), Gawain O'Daire (b. 1971) and Ramona Alba (b. 1973).
In 2003 she was living at Brogyntyn Home Farm, Oswestry, Shropshire, England.
She has worked for antique dealer Christopher Gibbs, interior designer David Mlinaric, and ran her own interior design company, JR Design, based in London.
