Biography

Trent Foo is a West Australian born, award-winning actor, writer, and producer based between Sydney and Los Angeles. He founded his production studio FooFrame Productions which is dedicated to creating bold, impactful stories across film and theatre.

His recent film and television credits include Seven Network's Home & Away and ABC's Caper Crew, alongside the award-winning short films DEZO, Paper Cranes, and Eat Up!. His commercial work includes numerous national and international campaigns, including Nintendo America and Allianz Insurance.

Trent is a recipient of the 2026 Affirm Press Fellowship with Varuna, Australia's National Writers' House, for his book What Destroyed Oliver Ocean?, co-written with his wife, Georgia Grubelich-Foo.

His debut, award-nominated play A Chinese Christmas is returning to the Seymour Centre, 1-12 December 2026.
