Faith Carolyn Ward (she/her) is a 32-year-old writer, actor, director, and playwright from Auckland, New Zealand. Her creative vision spans multiple mediums, and her work consistently garners attention both locally and internationally.
A standout achievement includes directing the music video Sportsman of the Year for Kiwi artist Jan Hellriegel, which has seen notable success on the film festival circuit. The video was showcased at the NZ Web Fest and the Swiff Student Film Festival, and earned 3rd place in the international category at the Short + Sweet Film Festival in Australia.
Faith draws inspiration from classic British filmmakers such as Ken Russell and Tony Richardson, as well as modernist playwrights and authors like Harold Pinter and D.H. Lawrence. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for bold storytelling and complex human themes.
