Jennifer Rose(XXVIII)

Choreographer, director, martial artist, and intimacy coordinator, Jennifer Rose is a former dancer with two MacArthur Genius Fellows; Shen Wei and Bill T. Jones and has performed at venues such as Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Festival du Cannes and The Olympic Theatre in Beijing. She choreographs for film, television and live events including the famed All female Choir, "Mystery of the of the Bulgarian Voice" and singer/songwriter Jacob Collier. Her film in collaboration with famed Arabic Singer, Ghalia Benali won awards for Best Director and Best Choreography in multiple film fests. She performed and choreographed the creature movement for the Clio award winning ad campaign, directed by Rune Milton, OPERA. Other credits include indie musician "SINI", Jon Braver's "Delusion", Dir. Maximilla Lukacs and Harper's Bazaar. She collaborates with a multitude of musicians, writers and directors creating a unique style that is fashionably present and simultaneously timeless .

She has worked as Pauline Chalamet's intimacy coordinator and creates steamy and spicy scenes for TV and web dramas. She is a black belt in Wushu and creates fight choreography for Lifetime, soaps and films.

As an educator she teaches masterclasses around the globe based on contemporary dance, theatrical expression and martial arts principals infusing her many styles into fully charged experience in the classroom. She believes performance is an opportunity for audiences to step into another world and witness the unimaginable.
