During the filming of the first Danish tourists in Antarctica in the year 2000, Jesper Heine Grand became the first Dane to cycle in Antarctica. This took place at the Argentine base, HOPE BASE, located at Punta Foca (Choza and Águila coves), Esperanza Bay (Trinidad Peninsula), Antarctic Strait.
