I am a professional in Film and TV Production with a Master's degree in Line Producing & Film Business. I specialize in audiovisual production and have experience in all stages of a project, from pre-production to exhibition.

Throughout my career, I have worked on international co-productions with the United States and Belgium. I have produced and distributed award-winning short films. My passion for independent cinema has led me to found A Posteriori Entertainment, a company dedicated to the distribution of short films, where I continue to support emerging talent and bring projects to international festivals.

**Kerly Chávez** is an Ecuadorian filmmaker, producer and film distribution professional based in Spain. She holds a degree in Film and Television Directing from Incine in Ecuador and a Master’s degree in Line Producing and Film Business from Escac in Spain.

Her professional experience spans film production, distribution and content creation. She has worked in different production roles on independent film projects and has participated in the development and production of short films, including "Muñeca", "Sé como José", "Entre dos", "La niña tatuada" and "El rebote".

In 2026, she founded "A Posteriori Entertainment", a Spain-based film distribution company focused on the international distribution of short films and the promotion of emerging filmmakers. Through the company, she works with filmmakers to connect their projects with international film festivals and new audiences.

Alongside her work in production and distribution, Kerly develops her own audiovisual and literary projects, with a particular interest in stories that explore identity, inequality, gender, social structures and the human experience.

Her work reflects an interest in independent cinema, emerging talent and stories with strong social and human perspectives.
