Jonathan Beattie is a director of photography, camera operator and Steadicam specialist. He's a proud member of the International Cinematographers Guild IASTE Local 600, the Society of Camera Operators (SOC) & the Steadicam Operators Association (SOA). Working with many talented directors, casts & crews to capture their vision. In addition to working as an operator Jon also has been invited to instruct at numerous steadicam workshops. Teaching at the SOA workshop in Philly, Tiffen workshops, the Maine Media workshops and at Ashbury University.
A lifelong New Yorker Jon is a graduate of FullSail University. He's worked in 30+ states and 3 continents in an over 20 year career in the motion picture industry.
