Jon Hein was born on November 24, 1967 in Hempstead, New York, USA. He is a producer and actor, known for For What It's Worth (2013), Food Factory USA (2014) and The Arrested Development Documentary Project (2013).

Hein is a fast-food expert who like plain hamburgers without any condiments or toppings.

Started the web site "jumpedtheshark.com", dedicated to pointing out when a television show had gone too far and was just ridiculous. Took the name from the Happy Days (1974) episode in which the Fonz jumped a shark with his motorbike. Recently (2006) sold the site to TV Guide, reportedly for over a million dollars.
